James Bacon is an Attorney with Landegger & Verano in Encino, California.

Prior to joining the firm Mr. Bacon founded and was the Managing Director of Class Economics, a data analysis and research firm supporting the legal and financial services industries.

Mr. Bacon also founded and was Managing Partner of Financial Services Marketing (FSM), a national consulting firm. His practice areas included business and marketing strategy, product development, customer acquisition and retention, marketing and sales communications, cross-channel marketing integration, and sales force training.

Prior to founding FSM in 2008, Mr. Bacon held senior marketing positions at Wells Fargo Bank, based in San Francisco, and The Leo Burnett Company, based in Chicago, where he served clients including Procter & Gamble, Phillip Morris and The Coca-Cola Company. Mr. Bacon’s business career includes extensive experience working abroad in markets across Asia and Latin America.

Additionally, Mr. Bacon has served the United States Government providing marketing expertise in the SME sector to The Bank of Jordan, and to Punjab National Bank in India. His career has also included work as an international journalist covering the financial service sector in Mexico and Latin America.

Mr. Bacon received his Juris Doctorate from Northwestern California University, he also holds an M.B.A from Pepperdine University and a B.A. in International Relations from the University of San Diego, which included studies at the Fundación Jose Ortega y Gasset in Toledo, Spain. He is fluent in Spanish language.

Mr. Bacon currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
