Each new year brings new employment laws. This means that your 2025 State/federal employment law poster will be out of date as of January 1, 2026.
2026 Poster Requirements:
- Employers must display all required federal and state posters in a prominent location (a noticeable or conspicuous place) at the worksite, and should distribute them to fully remote workers.
- If more than 10% of your workforce speaks a language other than English, you must post many of the required notices in their language as well.
- Failure to post required postings can result in hefty fines.

2026 Poster Updates
- State Minimum Wage: California’s minimum wage is increasing to $16.90/hour on January 1, 2026. This means that the minimum wage poster will be updated accordingly.
- Cal/OSHA’s Safety and Health Protection on the Job poster had a mid-year update in 2025.
- EEOC states on its website that it’s Know Your Rights poster is under revision, which may mean a January 1 update.
