Cal/OSHA recently issued an April 2026 update to its required “Safety and Health Protection on the Job” Notice. The Notice provides employees with information about employer safety obligations and employees’ rights, such as reporting unsafe working conditions or requesting Cal/OSHA safety inspections for unsafe conditions.

The Notice also includes the addresses and telephone numbers of Cal/OSHA’s division offices throughout the State. The April 2026 version makes minor changes, such as providing updated addresses for the San Francisco and Santa Barbara offices.

All employers must post at least one Notice at each physical location where business is conducted or where services or industrial operations are performed. The Notice must be posted in a place where notices to employees are customarily posted.

If you purchased our All-in-One Employment Law poster, you may print out the updated notice and post it beside your poster.

Employers can find the new notice in EnglishSpanish, and simplified and traditional Chinese.

What Should I Do Next?

We recommend keeping your posters up-to-date. Employers may print and post the updated notice, which should be in a conspicuous location. We usually suggest posting it right next to your all-in-one Labor Law Poster.

However, when you go to print this Notice, you may encounter difficulties unless you have a printer capable of printing an 11X17 posting (the size of this particular poster). No need to fret! If you ordered a 2026 Labor Law Poster from CEA, and you would like us to mail you the updated Notice, please submit your request using the contact form below.

Still need a 2026 Labor Law Poster? We have them available on CEA’s store.
